Grouping of genotypes was carried out by following Tocher’s method. In all, ten clusters were formed from 40 genotypes. The cluster I having sixteen genotypes followed by cluster II has eight, cluster IV and VI contain three, cluster III contains five and clusters V, VII, VIII, IX and X had single genotype. This grouping indicated considerable diversity among genotypes. Cluster II had desirable rating for number of pods per plant. The cluster IΧ had a desirable rating for highest plant height, number branches per plant and kernel yield per plant. The cluster X had desirable rating for highest germination percentage, earliness flowering, highest number of kernels per plant and shelling percentage. The maximum intra cluster distance was recorded in cluster III.
