Emergent Life Sciences Research (ELSR) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Emergent Research Publications (ERP).
The information, opinions, interpretations, conclusions, and other content published in ELSR are primarily the responsibility of the respective authors. Publication of an article does not necessarily imply endorsement of the views, conclusions, products, methods, organizations, or recommendations presented in the article by ELSR, its Editors, Editorial Board, reviewers, or Publisher.
ELSR seeks to maintain the quality and integrity of the scholarly record through editorial assessment, peer review, and applicable publication policies. 1. Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and ethical compliance of their published work. This responsibility includes research data and results, methodology, statistical analyses, interpretations and conclusions, figures and tables, references and citations, ethical declarations, authorship information, conflicts of interest, funding information, Data Availability Statements, AI Disclosure Statements where applicable, and copyright permissions.
Editorial assessment and peer review do not transfer responsibility for the scientific or scholarly content of an article from the authors to ELSR.
2. Views, Opinions, and Editorial Assessment
The views and opinions expressed in articles published by ELSR are those of the respective authors unless explicitly stated otherwise. They do not necessarily represent the views of ELSR, Emergent Research Publications, the Editor-in-Chief, Editors, Editorial Board members, reviewers, journal staff, or affiliated institutions.
Peer review and editorial assessment are important components of scholarly quality evaluation but cannot guarantee that a published article is completely free from scientific, methodological, statistical, ethical, or other errors. Acceptance and publication should not be interpreted as a guarantee of absolute scientific correctness or permanent validity.
3. Scientific Knowledge and Continuing Research
Scientific knowledge develops through continuing research, verification, replication, discussion, and revision. Findings published in ELSR may subsequently be confirmed, extended, reinterpreted, challenged, corrected, or superseded by new evidence.

Content published in ELSR is intended primarily for scientific, scholarly, research, and educational communication and should not automatically be interpreted as individualized professional advice.

Authors are responsible for identifying third-party material and obtaining appropriate permission where required. Third-party material may not be covered by the article's Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0); users should review applicable credit lines, copyright notices, and licensing conditions before reuse.
External resources are operated independently of ELSR unless explicitly stated otherwise. ELSR does not control or guarantee their continued availability, content, security, privacy practices, technical functionality, metadata, or licensing conditions. The presence of an external link does not necessarily imply endorsement.
7. Artificial Intelligence and AI-Assisted Content
Authors remain responsible for all content prepared or supported using artificial intelligence or AI-assisted technologies. The use of AI does not transfer responsibility for scientific accuracy, reference accuracy, data or image integrity, copyright compliance, appropriate disclosure, or scholarly interpretation from the human authors to an AI system, AI provider, ELSR, or the Publisher.

8. Errors and Post-Publication Concerns
Despite editorial and peer-review procedures, errors or concerns may be identified after publication. Where appropriate, ELSR may publish a Correction, Expression of Concern, Retraction, or other editorial notice, or take other appropriate action to protect the scholarly record.
The identification of an error after publication does not necessarily indicate research misconduct. Post-publication matters are assessed under the ELSR Corrections & Retractions Policy and other applicable journal policies.
9. Liability for Use of Published Information
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ELSR and Emergent Research Publications do not assume responsibility for loss, damage, injury, or other consequences arising solely from the use, misuse, or interpretation of information published in the journal.
Readers and users are responsible for applying appropriate professional judgment and evaluating the suitability of published information for their intended purpose. This Disclaimer does not exclude or limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Copyright, Licensing, Translation, and Adaptation
Authors retain copyright in accordance with the ELSR author-retained copyright model, and ELSR articles are distributed under CC BY 4.0, subject to any clearly identified exception for specific third-party material.
Open access and Creative Commons licensing permit reuse under applicable license conditions but do not imply that ELSR guarantees the accuracy, suitability, or outcome of any reuse, translation, or adaptation. Unless officially produced or expressly approved by ELSR, independently prepared translations or adaptations are the responsibility of their creators. The Version of Record published by ELSR remains the authoritative journal-published version.

11. Indexing, Metrics, and Publication Outcomes
Indexing, abstracting, discovery, search rankings, citation calculations, database classifications, and external metrics are subject to the practices and systems of independent third-party services. ELSR does not control or guarantee indexing by a specific database, citation levels, metric values, academic promotion, degree completion, funding success, institutional recognition, career benefit, or commercial application of published findings.
Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee peer review, acceptance, or publication. Editorial decisions are made according to the journal's applicable scientific, ethical, and editorial requirements.
12. Reporting Concerns
Readers, authors, reviewers, and other individuals may report significant concerns regarding ELSR content or journal processes to the Editorial Office. Reports should identify the relevant article, manuscripts, policy, or journal process and provide sufficient information for assessment where possible.
Scientific or publication-integrity concerns may be assessed under the relevant ELSR policy. Complaints regarding journal processes or conduct may be handled according to the ELSR Appeals & Complaints Policy.
13. Relationship With ELSR Policies and Oversight
